What's Your Talk Show?
I was having a conversation yesterday with some friends about random stuff. One question we asked each other...and I ask you is:
If you had a chance to have your own television talk show, what would it be AND what will you call it?
Discuss amongst yourselves and let me know...enlighten me :)
Lights...Camera...You're On!
26 Comments:
Depends on my mood! To keep the show suspenseful people should watch it to see which personality I use that day!
Name of the show also changes with the name of the personality! :oP
I would have the MissCosmo Show that would be the equivalent of the Oprah Show...actually this is my ultimate dream..I know I'd be good...I just know it!..:)
Can I have a radioshow instead?
I would have a morning radio show nothing but talking, cracking up and making fun of ourselves :-)
The name would be "The Purgatorian Experience" and the guests will have to come and engage in Purgatorian activities with me.
First guest would be you to be sure you come on the fifth night :P
"You have a show?!" Hahahahahaha that was hilarious. I liked yesterday's answers but here's my $0.02
Who Wants to be an Assassin? ;P
My show would be Baqala Watch.
Basicly we would go around random baqlas in Kuwait and just hang out there and talk to the guy who runs it, an the people to shop at it.
Ask about their views, good jokes, etc.
toomz and nibaq> Excellent ideas! LOL!!
hmmm..... I think I would do a music show called "Get into the Groove" where I would bring all of these new, up-and-coming, you-just-gotta-hear'em groups down to play some songs and promote their music. It would be audience inter-active too.. kinda like TRL only not so cheesy!
You can tell I've put alot of thought into this... :P
P.S. This is my first time here and just want to tell you, I like the look of your blog! very cool .. oh and Thicke rocks! Brand New Jones is killer!
My Show would be called "Sex Talk with Dr. Caff".
It would be about spreading sexual awareness in the Middle East.
1) There will be a lecture time, on a new topic each show.
2) There will be guest presenters, from professors to porn stars.
3) There will be a newly featured "toy" every show.
4) This is everyone's fav part: Q and A time. Calls will be accepted from around the region.
Though amusing, this is actually quite necessary in the Arab world...
Rampurple Productions
Presents:
Art With Rampurple
A show all about the arts. Paintings, exibitions, sculptures, music, plays.
It's an educational yet fun show. I believe art is what kuwait lacks. We need to create an art society.
Krispy Dixie: Thanks, a friend of mine guessed that's the type of show I'd probably have.
Caff: Hahahahahhahahahha *skullplode*
JC: What would your show be about? I've forgotten.
I'd call my show:
"We're not weird, we're gifted!"
LOL! ;)
Heheeh I really can't think of anything. But I just had to comment because I think nibaq and Caff have the best 2 ideas!
Keep them coming guys....!
that's interesting..
and you guys! the who wants to be an assasine?! smart!
we did a pilot show me and my friends it's called "من صجهم...؟!؟!؟" and we had a some what aggrisive approach to certain issues such as fog lights, and which is worse: public bathrooms, resturants bathrooms, or high school bathrooms...?!?! (high schools were the worst by far)...
and we had finished two clips one we called "terrorist's guide to obtain US visa", and "quality wars"
where we tested any similar items to see which was better...
we tested the boots of different brands against fire (we set the boots on fire, then we tried and walked in these shows), dog bites, car paving but sadly they all failed....!!!
the show has a "Penn& Teller's Bullshit!" taste to it, but we never completed the rest of the clips....
I hope we continue soon....
ok i'm not that kinda person who talks too much, so i won't do well in a talk show, bas i - very much - like Zavin Qumejian's talk show "Sira Winfatahit" on Future TV, so if i have to choose one for myself, it would be a copy of that program
HAHA Kleio - I GOT HERE FIRST :P
I think I want to see the show that Kleio et al came up with (offline) ;) No offense! Lol!!!
By the way - Kleio is about to post the entire script for her pilot!!! Long windeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeed!!! :p
Hey JC, stop stealing "A"'s conversation ideas! As someone who was there at the time this idea was first conceived, I STILL think our (me, S, and P) idea was best: you and S host a talk show, you say something very "JC" and S says something sarcastic back, you get pissed at S, fire him and hire P, then same thing happens, and you get pissed at P, fire him and hire me, etc. Well it was HILARIOUS when we first talked about it. ;) Seriously, though, I think the idea we came up with at Edo of having a show called "Ay Shay" and talking about all the BLOODY STUPID shit you see happening in Kuwait (like the side of 4th ring rd with no traffic having a green light for 3 mins whereas the side with mega traffic only getting a 1 min green light) is great. And our little circle is PERFECT to host it.
Raine...bugger off. ;)
7even! Loool! Your in the top 3!
Stallion: How smart...its so typical you.
MissCosmo: Our very own Oprah in Kuwait...Miss Cosmo :)
palforce: Radio show is fine. and I'll join you in your show :)
Purgatory: I think you should call your show "REPENT!"... but you condradicted your self when you said "First guest would be you to be sure you come on the fifth night"...how can I be the first guest and also be on the fifth show?
Toomz: How appropriate...i hope i'm not your first guest, just like the last time :P But my show would be..."Jazz It Up", a show about Jazz, culture, Art in Kuwait...and all that jazz :)
Nibaq: I sign up to be your camera man!
Kispy Dixie: Will show be in Kuwait? and if yes, will it be in English? Welcome to my blog :) I appreciate it :)
Caffienated: interesting...educational, yet showcasing "toys"? What a mixture :)
Rampurple: I totally agree. Hope u do get to do that since u got the passion and experience for it :)
LiailyQ8: Yes I got it...good one :)
Sou:...I like it, and yes we are :)
Delicately Realistic: When u think of something, let me know :)
7tenths: hehehe...ultimate madness :) U sneaky trying to reveal identities.
SPontaneousnessity: whats your show?
exzombie: so this really happened? Wow! Hope it returns...seems like it was a kick-a$$ show :)
alia: Yeah, he has good topics, very serious, but you can easlity relate too. Hope it works out for you :)
Raine: SO its a race between u and Kleio? hehehehe, so whats your show :)
Kleio: hehehe...I did not steal the idea. I actually asked for permission before I posted...so..HA!!!
I like the show :) AT least I get to fire your a$$es! hehehehe, and I like the fact that we keep in all in the family :)
Delicately Realistic: your top three? or mine?
hmmm no not much sense in having it in kuwait.... I'm not a huge fan of arabic music and I just know that with my luck, the only people who would end up on the show would be some arabic rap group singing about bimbos and GT's!!
hmmm no.. the show would have to be set right here in NYC baby!! The capital of up-and-coming music!!
hehe good question !
i have two ideas
a book club show called "Theme" where people choose a book to read and in the next episode they would discuss the plot, characters , themes , criticism , picking the favorite line and so on ... i know i know thats boring !! but i realy wish if we had one !!
and the other show is a comedy talk show from reality ! .each time we bring different people who are chosen by the audience to come and talk about the funny moments in their lives or some comedians to comment on things like saddam's trial , u know like those things that happen in deywaweeen and 7areem's gatherings in kuwait where some funny people comment on some serious stuff and u laugh ur lungs out !!... hmmm and i think it should be called "break time" !!
Mine obviously :)
Don't you agree though?
YOU GRADUATED FROM AIS??!?!?!
omg what year?? hehe
Krispy Dixie: I totally agree. But dont think ist about time we have a show like that in Kuwait? Make it unique and contemporary and in English so you would have an edge :)
Mother Courage: I LOVE THE COMEDY IDEA! Makes sense to share funny moments with other people.
Deleicatly Realistic: Yes I do. and mine too :)
snookie: hehehehe...yes I did. Class of 97...back in the days...'3bar!
