Kuwait Bloggers are Better!

I was having a conversation with Nibaq the other day. He mentioned that out of all blogs out there, Kuwait bloggers are the most amazing to read. So I did my little research online browsing different blogs and I have to say that it's true. Bloggers in Kuwait are, by far, the most enjoyable to read compared to other bloggers in the region (UAE, Bahrain, Lebanon, etc). Don't get me wrong, other bloggers in other countries are very good, but you have to admit that Kuwait Bloggers are more into it. This also includes Kuwait bloggers who are outside Kuwait as well. I think it's their way to be close to home. Kuwait bloggers have more things to say...to share..to admit. The language we use, or the tone of voice, the sarcasm, the humor...WE ROCK!! Now I'm not saying this just because I live in Kuwait. I'm saying this as a known fact. Also, when I say "Kuwait bloggers", it does not necessarily mean only Kuwaiti nationals. I'm talking all people who live in Kuwait in general. (although I have to admit that Kuwaiti's are more fun to read). Alot of people may say that we have a lot of free time on our hands...makoo shoghol...but whatever!! I get that a lot. But it don't matter. I don't really care what people say. Blogging is a way of expression artistically, personally, culturally. :) What do you all think?

I totally agree,

Although I'm not Kuwaiti, but being born in Kuwait I feel that Kuwait is part my childhood, so I'm self proclaimed Kuwaiti :-)

And I belong to this circle of blogs because it’s the HIPPIEST of all.

Rock On :-)

Your topic reminded me of the irc during the 90's... I remember that #Kuwait had the highest volume of users, and that was during the times where it takes you at least 30 mins to log into the net!!
Wonder if that is relavant?

Jazzman, nice blog!

And I agree about the Kuwaiti blogs thing, but the main reason has to be nibaq himself! The reason it is popular goes down to good organization and the ease of finding and reading other Kuwaiti blogs, which makes it more appealing for other to join and read and so on....

They dont call him the godfather of blogging for nothing, u know ;P

Blasha: Sing It!

Anonymous: Why am I nut?

Palforce: You're right...the Kuwait circle of Blogs are the hippest!

Purgatory: I know you said not to ask why, but.....why? :P

Reema: I'm in the same boat. I just joined in May and I'm loving it!

Bo_Ghazi: It's totally relevant. It's only a different time and place. My god I totally forgot about IRC. Talk about blast from the past :)

I posted a comment on here regarding this issue and I made sure it posted! I came back and actually ready it but for some reason JC didn't get an e-mail about it and it's not here anymore! I don't remember the exact comment but I remember a few parts of it! Here goes:

I guess the population in Kuwait is technologically advanced when it comes to these kinda things and when we do something that we enjoy we do it right!
I said something about IRC and how Bo_Ghazi was right the Kuwait to MIRC by storm and in actuallity JC people still use IRC and you can definitly see that by the way Blasha used /me to express an action!
I mentioned how Kuwait blogs have atitude in the sence that they don't talk about one thing! Blogs here do not stick to one type of posting! Forexample there are blogs who post nothing but politics, others post only religion, and so on! I for one have a blg that related to my life, my activities, I prefer to stay away from politics but that might slip in, but my favorite thing to post are Quizes! :oP
Oh, yeah, I also mentioned that I'm honored by Anonymous' comment and that I felt I knew that person!

I wish my post didn't disappear into thin air! It was soo much better and more organized!

That's weird that your first comment didn't go thru. But no worries, your second comment is organized and your point is shown. I'm suprised that ppl still use MIRC...talk about old school..Hehehehe. But good for you :P

O.K., the Anonymous was me. Had a brain fart, but now I remember my log on. Did you guess right E.G.? :-)

J.C. - I said you were a nut because you are so refreshingly candid and quirky. Love it! Some people think that kind've pride and the candor to voice it is a little nutty. I've been known to be called a nut and I always take it as a compliment. I hope you do too! :-)
