Bas Ya Ba7ar

Ya jama3it il Khair!....Calling All Bloggers! I need your help. Is there any way I can get a hold of the movie "Bas Ya Ba7ar"...the first Kuwaiti movie (starring Hayat El-Fahad & Saad Al-Faraj) released in 1971. I really wanna see it. Plus I need it for a project I'm working on. Come on people, lets all puts our heads together and make this work. I've done my research online, but no results. Anyone who finds it for me...a sushi dinner on me :) Thanks.

Signed,

Helpless Jazz.

Go to Cinema Club in Kuwait City (tata knows exact location) they should have it.

I think if you know a member you can rent on their name.

I like the debate thats happening here. But I have to first clarify something. The person I take to sushi is the person that led to to the movie and actaully got in in my hand.

Purg: Will you come with me to Cinema Club? you playing dirty with the blackmail :)

SheWrites: yay...an old school VHS complete with dust...how appropriate. Let me know if you find it :)

Delicately Realistic: Will u lend me the tape plz? I tried to call KTV but its a loooooong process :(

Nibaq: When I find it and i will come over and watch it in your house...bring popcorn too!

Toomi: Your always welcome to a sushi dinner with me :)

snookie: I wish that too. That would be amazing!

Q: Of course you do :)

You can find "bas ya ba7ar" at al fonoon center. I have bought it from there a year ago and transformed it to a DVD. I wrote a research paper on it. Surprisingly I found many written resources on the movie, more than i have expected.

We had to watch that in school last year. Lol it was pretty good for something that old. Ofcourse all the other kids in my class couldn't stop laughing. Watch it with someone who doesnt mind watching crappy filming.
